After a scorching day under the summer sun at Kinbrook Island Provincial Park in Southern Alberta, the sun lights the still bright summer sky and water ablaze with hues of orange and gold.

“A Long Kiss Goodnight” embodies the beauty of a warm summer sunset at the beach, where nature's palette paints the sky with tranquility and your heart with peace.

There was something magical about painting the sunset's reflection dancing on the lake's surface, even as I looked out the window at the banks of snow. 

The inspiration from this piece comes from the talented Amy Milton Photography and was used with permission as reference for this work.
